It's pretty cool that you made a cutscene in stencyl, I don't even know how lol, but easy was kinda boring and too easy, while medium was too hard. Also I didn't like how the level felt, it was very just there. You know, just Mario pieces for the sake of being Mario pieces. I think it would've been more interesting if you followed a theme or (though this idea is weird) what if you made the koopa start at the end flag and he had to get to the beginning of the level, like in a regular Mario game, and Mario was trying to kill you or something.

Nomally I would give a game like this a low rating as the game has no scoring or measurable goal, nor does it have any joy in play, but I would like to believe the creator designed this game to show the insignificance humans have, in stopping something like this. That one cannot stop it physically we need everyones support. So I would like to believe this game might be deep. I only gave it a 4 because
A its glitchy and sometimes doesn't load
and B lack of sound effects and music offer a gameplay that could be so much more meaningful. I feel if a game like this is deep like that as well, there should be multiple useless games, and maybe even newscasts and quotes to add a feel.

It's a pretty decent pin ball game, but there are plenty of flaws.
There should be more lives and the level lacks depth and lights, stuff that makes pinball interesting. Also your theme makes no sense. Lastly because you made this with stencyl theres a flaw that makes the ball sometimes go through the putter. To fix this just make that actor have a ton of mass.

This is just like that really old flash game "Arrow Mania" I believe. Study that game for improvements.

I liked this game but there's a lot more that I believe should go into it.
One of my number one things is probably room size, I think the sections you exist in are far too small, it'd be much more enjoyable if they were just a tad bit wider by either using smaller actors, or scrolling. Second It needs collision animations, I have no idea, when an anime hits me, or how. Making the battles less about tactic and more about "I just need enough stats."
Also the collision sizes of characters. A lot of characters can hit me, even if I supposedly dodge them. You should make that work a little bit better. Also the shield, barely works, very bad tool.
Another thing this game also needs is a plot and cutscenes. Seeing as it's an RPG, you can never have an RPG just for the sake of having them. Also there should be a hub village of some sort, and maybe quests and other things. This game also needs SFX and music, I saw that you said it was hard, but this game ABSOLUTELY needs those things, and lastly, pump the art up a lot. If you follow most of my advice I believe that this will be a very great game.

Yeah, the collision works the same as "Bullet storm" games, if it hits a pixel in the centre of you, you get hit. It's not dodgey, works perfectly how I want it too. I may make the screen wider, the "Engine" I've made for it doesn't allow screen scrolling, otherwise I'd have to reprogram the whole game. You can dodge every enemy in the game, and kill them level one. It is skill based, not stat based. Shield, I agree, it's horrible. Plot and cutscenes, I will definitely add a plot, cutscenes might not come though. SFX and music, I have no skill in creating any of these except for some pixely sounding 8-bit noises, which are already in the game. Pumping up the art, I might be getting a drawing tablet, so I might be able to make it a bit prettier. :P
Anyway, thanks for the feedback. I'll try to work on it. :)

It had a nice feel, but the fundamental art, I don't mean like art skill, but the art design was very lacking, and so was gameplay. It was very boring and simple, the music was the only thing that kept me engaged honestly. Try adding collectible and goals for the level and even difficulties.

its fantastic.

I seriously can't tell what I'm supposed to do.

I thought it was fairly good, but it felt like the levels were a little short, like literally as in height wise, which made the character have really weird jumping and the jumps were very slow. Also the enemies just happen to know you're there as soon as you get close, and shoot fairly fast, The only way to kill someone is to spam the crap out of your gun, because you can't dodge the projectiles very well.

miketinovic responds:

Thanks for the fair criticism! It takes some time to learn how enemies behave and at what tempo they're shooting, not sure what you meant by "level height", though. Thanks for the feedback anyway.

The plat forming mechanic is fun but nothing else even makes sense
